Overview
The low-voltage zone control central hub is an efficient central wiring junction for your landscape lighting system. The hub method of landscape wiring reduces the connections and amount of wire needed, saving time and money on installation and maintenance. Fewer wire connections and a centralized location improve reliability and streamline possible future troubleshooting. The weather-tight central wiring hub protects your wiring from moisture and corrosion more effectively than traditional methods.
Place your junction hub in the center of a lighting zone and run one wire from your transformer to the hub. Run your fixture wires through one of the eight cap-sealed wire feed holes and connect them to the transformer wire. Coil any additional fixture wire inside the hub without trimming to ensure each run is the same length. Finally, measure the voltage of each light to ensure it is at the correct voltage. Move the run to a different transformer voltage tap if necessary.
Use the brass threaded insert to attach the included ABS stake for mounting in the ground. An optional brass surface mount can be used for installation on trees or rafters for multi-light downlighting, pergola or deck lights, or other architectural lighting designs.
